About Us:
We are currently seeking a dedicated School Counselor to join our team. As a Mental Health Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting the emotional and psychological well-being of our students.
Position Details:
- Full-time position: 37.5 hours per week
- Openings available for Kindergarten through 12th grade
- Competitive pay rates starting at $35/hr and up
Responsibilities:
- Foster a safe and inclusive environment where students feel empowered to express their needs and concerns
- Stay informed about district and school policies, as well as state and federal laws, to ensure compliance and confidentiality in information sharing
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, administrators, and caregivers to address students' mental health needs
- Maintain accurate and HIPAA-compliant records of students' health information
- Utilize evidence-based diagnosis and treatment protocols in accordance with state licensing standards
Requirements:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Counseling or related field
- State Board of Education licensure is required
